Salon Assistant
Maddie has been a key member of Lykke & Hygge since she joined us in 2025. Balancing her part-time role alongside her college studies, she helps create a welcoming atmosphere at the salon. From serving coffee to engaging in chit chat with our clients, Maddie ensures guests feel relaxed and looked after every time they visit us.
"I'm a Salon Assistant at Lykke & Hygge, and I've been here since July 2025. I work part-time here alongside sixth form where I study Health & Social Care.
I love being part of the team, everyone here makes it so comfortable, and enjoy helping to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for everyone who visits the salon. I love to make sure our clients feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their appointment, whether that's by offering a warm welcome with an amazing cup of coffee or tea, or by making sure they have everything they need during their visit. Chatting to clients and getting to know so many different people is the highlight of my job!
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, going out with friends and walking my dogs. I love being sociable, but I also appreciate my calm time; the salon is perfect for me as it's always got an upbeat vibe and lovely people there all the time!
